Share what you know - GN 05 Jan 2017.JPG

I am just an ordinary expatriate who came to the UAE with lots of hopes and dreams in 1987. Life has evolved and revolved over the years of my stay in the UAE. I am happy to say that I lived most of my life here. The journey has not been easy for me all these years. I am worried about the number of people, close family members who have been affected by cancer. Some have already left this world and some are fighting it out. I want to support all those who are affected by cancer in some way or another.

Also, it’s important to me to promote talent and knowledge through my own initiative for sharing talent or knowledge from within us to others. What is the point of having a skill within you, if you are not willing to share it and pass it on to someone who is willing to propagate it? It is a challenge and many people who are talented hold on to it without passing on the skills to a second or third person. We have to share our skills, talents or knowledge to those around.

TALENT SHARE - CLUB logo

Welcome to the World of TalentShare

https://www.facebook.com/Team1Talentshare/

TalentShare  is a simple online initiative started on 6th October 2008 to promote creative activities of children and adults through www.team1talentshare.blogspot.com.

The initiative is progressed with the key belief

“A talent or knowledge within you is to be shared”.

As silent or as aloud, through this blog, various initiatives were made all the year along and I am proud to say that till this date, we have witnessed consistent contribution from many talented artists of different age. Several schools from various parts of the world including UAE and reaching as far as Doha, Kuwait, and various parts of India participated with interest in showcasing their creativity throughwww.team1talentshare.blogspot.com .

Periodically, all the participating children were complemented with gifts and certificates.

I believe in what I say, and www.team1talentshare.blogspot.com is an example of it.

What is the benefit of a knowledge or a talent if it remains within us?.

Imagine how it spread from one person to another to many, if it is shared. The beauty, the enjoyment and the thrill of sharing, it has to be enjoyed.

Like a child who keeps the chocolate in his pocket without sharing it with his friends on a hot sunny day, your knowledge or talent, hidden and kept aside for your own enjoyment will melt down finally without benefiting you even.

TalentShare is a serious and sincere effort and so far being undertaken solely.

A period of slow activities for it now has to end and I am relaunching it now and take this opportunity to invite more participation from those interested in arts, crafts, music, science, technology or any other field to volunteer in sharing their valuable talent to come forward and be a part of Talent Share activities.

I always believe we need to promote creative talent of children and adults alike in its multitude of forms and variations to the forefront and TalentShare blog (www.team1talentshare.blogspot.com) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Team1Talentshare/ ) and its activities is an option created for it.

I invite those who are interested to undertake the following responsible roles are welcome to contact me:

– to like the Facebook page and bookmark the blog of Talent Share

– to promote its activities

– to connect me with new talent in any form so that together we can promote them

– encourage the participants

– give guidance to the participants.

– participate in various admin roles.

God bless all those creative talents who contributed silently and please pray for their continued interest in participating and promoting creativity which has no special forms in this world of excellence.

e Nidhi SREE Nidhi – an opportunity to support children who wants to study

Dear Friends,

On behalf of Team 1 Talent Share group and blogs, I wish to encourage, motivate and support poor children to study and progress well in the life. With this in mind, I wish to initiate:

• A Scholarship in terms of a variety of assistance (monetary benefits, books, uniform, support etc) – to those children from families with difficulties to educate their children in the 10th, 12th and Degree education.

• Encourage them to join for higher studies in Engineering subjects (Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Engineering) and Medicine.

The idea now is to plan and provide:

• one cash award each for girls and boys for 10th, 12th and Graduation who gets high marks in the respective exams.

• additional bonus amounts ( in terms of cash) will be awarded according to:
  • The child’s extracurricular abilities like skills in sports and arts will get extra rating.
  • His/her parents education (the lesser the education of the parent and the higher mark he gets, he will get a higher rating)
  • Any physical disabilities he/she has in life will get special consideration and rating

The above are the basic criteria I have thought about for initiating this scheme for the first time.

You can participate in two ways:

  1. If interested, you may join hands with me are welcome to contact me by email team1dubai@gmail.com.
  2. You may identify a needy child and introduce him/her and his/her parents to me so that as a team we could finalise what are their requirements for a successful educational environment to come up in life.

If identified, children in earlier classes of education will also be supported under this scheme.

It is also planned support and facilitate better reading room facilities in school and villages in the rural areas.

As we work ahead, we will fine tune the proposed scheme named e Nidhi SREE Nidhi and make it more attractive and interesting to those needy children in our community.

Thanking in advance my family and friends for the support for the success of this educational scheme.

Looking forward to your positive reply in this regard and then we will work on further to make it a reality.

True regards,

Ramesh Menon

Team 1 Talent Share Message to Members : Theme for June 2010

Dear Talent Share Participating members and Fans,

1. I sincerely thank each and every participating member of Talent Share Fan page and blog. May be due to school holidays in India and school ending season and exams before summer holidays, the responses received to the May 2010 themes have been limited.

With the importance of the themes mentioned for May and it’s relevance to children, I am continuing them for June 2010 with additions.

Flowers and vegetables

You may draw different types of flowers and vegetables you get to see in your day to day life. If possible, try to add their botanical name to add interest and knowledge to the viewers.

Life in a Zoo

You can draw and present animals, birds and other activities you watch in a zoo. This is also an opportunity to visit a zoon nearby your home and present what you see there either as a drawing, coloring, cartoon etc.

Traffic Awareness

This is an important theme presented for the month of May and I am continuing for June as well. As many of you may be aware by now, the directorate of traffic and patrol (general command of Abu Dhabi police -UAE) and SAAED company is conducting one of the largest international ART competition. The competition is for traffic regulation under the banner of (traffic safety). The rules and regulations are detailed in the following link.

http://www.saaed.ae/Section.aspx?name=cmp_165

I hope, Talent Share participating members from worldwide are inspired by the above item to submit their creative contribution directly at the link and address mentioned in the above link. At the same time, I am requesting you to present a copy of it so that, it inspires more members to participate. I am encouraging a multiple presentation policy because; I believe that a healthy competition always brings out the best.

2. In addition, from this month, I will be including a weekly or bi-weekly theme for presentation of photographs clicked by you at Passionate Photographers group.

Theme for this week is : Sunrise

Sincerely looking forward to your photo presentations, with location details and time you clicked at Passionate Photographers group before 08 June 2010:

Team 1 Talent Share Message to Members : Theme for May 2010

Dear Talent Share Participating members and Fans,

1. I sincerely thank each and every participating member of Talent Share Fan page and blog. The responses received to the April 2010 themes have been remarkable. It became an open example of bringing out hidden and innate talents of our members as we watched with interest the beautiful jewellery collections presented.

I am presenting to you the themes for May 2010:

• Life in a Zoo

You can draw and present animals, birds and other activities you watch in a zoo. This is also an opportunity to visit a zoon nearby your home and present what you see there either as a drawing, coloring, cartoon etc.

• Traffic Awareness

This is an important theme presented for the month of May. Some of you may be aware, the directorate of traffic and patrol (general command of Abu Dhabi police -UAE) and SAAED company is conducting one of the largest international ART competition. The competition is for traffic regulation under the banner of (traffic safety). The rules and regulations are detailed in the following link.

http://www.saaed.ae/Section.aspx?name=cmp_165

* I hope, Talent Share participating members from worldwide are inspired by this theme to submit their creative contribution directly at the link and address mentioned in the above link. At the same time, I am requesting you to present a copy of it so that, it inspires more members to participate. I am encouraging a multiple presentation policy because; I believe that a healthy competition always brings out the best.

2. I would like to also inform you that the recent newspaper coverage with the support of Malayala Manorama has brought in many entries and visitors to the Fan page and blog. The effort is a continuous process and thus repeats my request to all the participating members to present neat and complete work. More such presentation opportunities are looked upon and very soon you will see the result of it.

3. I am happy to inform you that, our dedicated style of presentation and participation is getting recognised and appreciated by organisations and associations. One such example is the important announcement by Christ College Irinjalakuda Alumni association to showcase on Talent Share sites the entire presentations submitted by their member’s children for an ongoing art competition. Organisations and cultural associations and their active members are invited to present such activities on Talent Share.

4. Due to ongoing changes on Face Book, several new options and enhancements are coming out. It is causing sometimes huge inconvenience and loss of data. This was one of the reasons; I couldn’t implement the two new added features informed to you through the Message dated 31 March 2010. However, here too, we take the principle, a change is an opportunity and I am working on several added features during the split seconds of my available time devoted for Talent Share. Watch out for them, and promise you to make it interesting as usual. All these actions are done with sincere interest to prove the good aspects of utilising social network sites for the benefit of the society around.

As I rephrase and quote Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s words, do you need to be motivated to promote and participate Talent Share?

Wish you a great month day and great month ahead.

“We did it” – Talent Search Campaign

Posted on Updated on

“We did it” – Talent Search Campaign
Dear Participating members and Fans of Team 1 Talent Share,

I am coming to you all with a special campaign this time. As the name denotes, it is a collective effort. A visit to one of the school here and a casual talk with a teacher prompted me to create this campaign.

There are many hidden talents within our near vicinity. Some of them, fortunately or unfortunately do not have the facility of computers at home, or even if they have, they are not familiar with talent upload sites and Fan pages. Certain others could not participate due to restrictions of various type. Some others have inhibitions or contempt to such progressive initiatives.

What we are going to do through this campaign is simple:

1. Look around for un-exhibited and hidden talents amongst your contacts

2. Identify and convince them and volunteer to exhibit their creative work

3. Obtain their permission to scan and forward their creativity for exhibition at Talent Share.

4. Post them directly at Talent Share Fan page on Face Book, keeping in mind the simple guidelines for posting or email them to team1dubai@gmail.com

5. Once posted, invite them along with your friends to view them at Talent Share blog and Fan pages.

6. Applaud yourself and feel the contentment of bringing out a talent to a global audience.

7. Both you and the artists receive the appreciation from a world wide audience and enjoy their good will.

Our intention is to have a collective participation of families, friends to present creativity in the best possible way. So, take your time, present only neat work.

As you know, dedicated efforts are in progress to exhibit creative work submitted by Talent Share Fans at various forums and media initiatives.

Spread the word around. Start searching for that precious un-identified pearl amongst your contact circle and introduce their work at Talent Share.

Let this be start of an evolution of a chain reaction. Yes, let us all say together – A Talent or Knowledge within you is to be shared. And together “We Did It”.

Good luck in advance and become a self campaigner for Talent Share now itself.
