You are in the UAE and I Know You are Safe. You will Be!
It’s now 8 days since the current conflict started. I would have been in the UAE on Saturday morning. But, last minute change of plans, I ended up in Kerala!. I wish, I did not!
Why? My family and friends are there. It is the place, I have lived since late 80s.
Several of my friends and family members contacted me – are you not bringing back your family members? Are you not afraid of the situation happening there?
I had only one answer – No way!- they will be safe in the UAE! More than any other place in this world.
Honestly speaking the probably of getting injured in an accident on the road while driving here where I am, is much higher than the current situation in the UAE!
Over the years, I have so many of you in my contacts as friends and favorites. I have not called and enquired with any single one of you! It is simply because of my confidence in the country and its rulers and administrators.
It’s true. All the residents are confident of the government and authorities in the country and their urge to protect its citizens, residents and visitors without any bias.
Stay Safe. Listen to instructions from the authorities. See you soon.
Long Live the UAE and Let Peace Prevail in the region at the earliest.
To or Not To?!
I am too surprised! Back here after 1432 days of hibernation! It’s not usual of me to stay away from expressing what my “Mind Speaks”.
Now back here, will make sure all my readers will get quality contents from now on.
Catharanthus roseus – is a common flower from the plant that is seen in most of the houses in Kerala. Not many know it’s importance.
The plant produces over 100 alkaloids, but the most notable are vinblastine and vincristine.
Medical Use: These “vinca alkaloids” are widely used in combination chemotherapy regimens.
Vincristine is primarily used to treat childhood leukemia.
Vinblastine is effective against Hodgkin’s lymphoma, as well as bladder, testicular, lung, and breast cancers.
